April 11, 2008 OREM, Utah - A successful community service project was culminated at the Wolverine Awards earlier this week when the Utah Valley Student Athlete Advisory Committee presented a check for over $6,300 to Kids on the Move director Stuart Collyer. "I've been to several athletic events," Collyer said at the Wolverine Awards. "They are exceptional athletes on the field, but I've never seen such enthusiasm as they showed at this event." The Green Fever 5k Run was held on Saturday, March 29. Over 400 participants either ran or walk the course while over 200 volunteers helped make the event a success. Huskie'z Landscaping was the event's title sponsor while the athletic department teamed with the UVU Student Government to provide many of the volunteers. Also sponsoring the event were the UVU Bookstore, Spin Media Marketing, Daily Herald, Utah Adventurer.com, Residence Inn, Thrive Promotions and Namifiers.
