At Utah Valley ... Freshman ~ (2007):
Started 25 games and appeared in 34 ... hit .271 with five doubles, one triple and one homerun ... had seven multi-hit games ... against New Mexico State on Marvh 11th he went 2-for-3 with three runs scored, two RBI and a home run ... on April 5th against Utah he was 3-for-5 with three RBI and one run scored ... in the Independent Tournament against NJIT on May 24th he was 5-for-6 with 4 runs scored and three RBI.

Prepped at Burlington-Edison High School ... played baseball, football and wrestled in high school ... his football team went to the state playoff in 2003 and 2005 ... in 2004 he was named second team All-NorthWest and in 2005 he was named first team All-NorthWest at Corner and second team wingback ... he was also a 2004 state participant in wrestling ... high school teammate of catcher Kevin Arendse.
