Played two seasons at Dixie State College ... went 1-0 with a 1.04 ERA in 2006 at Dixie ... prepped at Lehi High School where he helped team to region championship and was named team MVP ... named 1st Team All-State ... had at least one hit in all 24 games during senior season ... named to Utah Valley All-Star team where he was the winning pitcher in the game ... played first base and right field in addition to pitching for the Pioneers.
