New to the 2008 UVU Baseball Promotions Schedule will be your opportunity to host your child's birthday party at the ballpark. UVU is now accepting Reservations for birthday parties at most Wolverine Baseball Home Games.
A baseball birthday party at UVU consists of the following:
1. Up to 20 general admission tickets upon receipt of your check. Additional tickets can be purchased by buying a larger package. Call for more information.
2. Baseball Theme Cake with the Child's name on it.
3. Birthday Card and/or poster autographed by the team.
4. Birthday boy/girl gets to throw out the first pitch (subject to availability).
5. Recognition on the Matrix Board and announcement.
6. Visit from Wolverine.
Please arrive 1 hour prior to the start of the game. Extra food cannot be brought into the baseball stadium with the exception of 2 gallon jugs of a drink to be served with the Cake (UVU provides the cake). Please bring a tablecloth, plates, knives, forks, cups, and napkins. Trash bags will be provided. The cake will be given to the family prior to the start of the game. Please communicate the numbers of tables needed 7 days prior to the party. The birthday party area (where the cake will need to be served) will be near the play area on the concourse of the stadium.
A student representative will meet you at the table to give you a baseball and instructions for throwing out the first pitch approximately 15-20 minutes prior to the start of the game. We will take the birthday person to the third base dugout for the ceremonial first pitch. You are welcome to bring your camera to take pictures on the field, however, only one other person will be allowed on the field with the birthday person.
We will call you if it looks like the game will be canceled due to rain. If this happens, you can move your party to another day or get a refund. If the game is played, no refund will be given. If there are questions regarding the weather, please call 863-8989 2 hours prior to the start of the game.
Each party must provide p roper supervision of the youngsters in your group. The UVU Athletic Department is not responsible for any accidents or injuries that might occur while on the grounds surrounding the Brent Brown Ball park.
Tickets will be mailed once we receive payment.
