HARTFORD, Conn. - Utah Valley junior golfer Nick Nelson earned first team All-Conference honors in the 2007-08 America Sky Conference awards on Monday. The awards were based on an average of the Golfstat and Golfweek rankings.

Nelson won the America Sky Conference championship in the fall and had three top-five and six top-20 finishes in his first year at Utah Valley.

A.J. Oleksak, a senior from Hartford University was named the Player of the Year, while his coach, Bill Poutre, earned the Coach of the Year award. Weber State's Keaton Woodland and Stephen Bidne from Northern Colorado were named Co-Newcomers of the Year.
