Final Results

MOORPARK, Calif. - Utah Valley women's golf finished in eighth place on Tuesday as seniors Echo Thatcher and Ashley MacKay played in their final collegiate competitions at the Matador Spring Invitational at Tierra Rejada G.C.

Thatcher, who began the day in a four-way tie for first, shot a final round 77 and finished tied for 7th. MacKay shot an 83 to finish tied for 42nd while junior Kasey Larson also shot 83 in the final round to finish in a tie for 23rd.

"We had a solid final tournament. It was a good way to end the season," said head coach Denise Larson. "Echo's top 10 was great for her to end her career that way. Things are looking up for us as a team. The girls continue to improve."

Cal Poly won the team and individual title, with Hannah Brabb's final round 70 catapulting her to a four-shot win.
